With as many forms as there are imaginations, the Animation Competition regroups every year countless talents and enables us to see today the graphic styles of tomorrow’s moviemakers !

One of the first genres of cinema, short documentary films allow us each year to show young and new points of view on real-life subjects. From bedbugs to family meals, from people with disabilities to political mobilisations, the Documentary Competition is the space occupied by directors who are free to show us the world - and their world - as they see it.

Messy editing, freewheeling camera: in the Experimental Competition, we seek the limits of cinema. The principle ? No principle – building something around the never-seen-before. Get ready, your vision will change at every turn with this new competition!

The fiction filmmakers are Méliès' heirs. To imagine new stories, new ways of telling, framing, showing... The creators of the Fiction Competition offer innovative tales to bring out emotions, desires and striking shots. They can search and find themselves in the fictional space they create !
