This festival is exclusively for short films, and screenings are free. The event is organized by the "Rêves de cinéma" association.
The program features around fifty short films (fiction, animation, documentary, and very short).
Several guests, all film professionals, will be present throughout the festival to present their work. There will be three voting options: Audience Award, Professional Jury Award, and Youth Jury Award.

The 5th edition of the ON COURT À LA BALEINE festival will take place from December 3rd to 5th, 2026, in the magnificent setting of the LA BALEINE theater in Onet-le-Château, Aveyron (500 seats).
