Festival du film social

The Social film festival is both a social and a cinematic event.
It is organized every year in October by the association La 25e image, across as many regions and cities as possible.
In 2025, it took place in 40 cities and 60 venues across mainland France.
The overall aim of the festival is to raise public awareness of the experiences of people in social difficulty and the realities of social work and intervention through film.
The festival can thus contribute to promoting social work, inspiring vocations, strengthening educational approaches, questioning professional practices, and more broadly raising awareness among all citizens, developing their empathy, and contributing to greater social cohesion within our society.
