Festival du Film Social

The Social Film Festival is both a social and cinematographic event. It is organized every year in October, by the association La 25e image, on multiple sites in as many regions and cities as possible. In 2024 it took place in more than twenty cities in mainland France. The general objective of the festival is to raise public awareness of the experiences of people in social difficulty and the realities of work and social intervention through cinematographic representation. The festival can thus contribute to promoting social work, encouraging vocations, strengthening educational approaches, questioning professional practices and more broadly raising awareness among all citizens, developing their empathy and contributing to greater social cohesion within our society.
