The Traversées festival offers many previews, meetings with young people, school screenings meetings, free decentralized screenings in the Lunel region. Professionals of the 7th Art, directors, actors, scriptwriters, will come to talk to us about their cinematographic passions. Without forgetting the short film competition to which a prize is awarded by the public and high school students.

Pour sa 42e édition, le Festival Traversées, organisé par l’Association Pêcheurs d’Images, souhaite mettre en valeur le territoire d’Occitanie ainsi que la filière cinéma de la Région. La compétition courts-métrages présentera une sélection de « films d’Occitanie ».

Specific criteria
Conditions d’éligibilité obligatoires
Pour être éligibles à la compétition, les courts-métrages doivent :
Avoir une durée inférieure à 20 minutes.
Ne contenir aucun élément soumis à des droits non autorisés (images, musiques, extraits, archives, etc.).
Si le film est tourné dans une langue autre que le français, fournir obligatoirement des sous-titres français.
Conditions secondaires d’éligibilité
En plus des conditions obligatoires de l’article 1, un film doit remplir au minimum l’une des conditions suivantes :
Avoir été tourné sur le territoire d’Occitanie.
Être réalisé par un·e réalisateur·ice originaire et actuellement résident·e en Occitanie.
Être réalisé par un·e réalisateur·ice en formation audiovisuelle en Occitanie.
Être produit par une société de production dont le siège social est situé en Occitanie.
Le fait de remplir plus d’une de ces conditions n’apporte aucun avantage supplémentaire lors de la sélection.

Specific criteria
Article 1 – Mandatory eligibility requirements
To be eligible for the competition, short films must:
Be less than 20 minutes long.
Not contain any elements subject to unauthorized rights (images, music, excerpts, archives, etc.).
If the film is shot in a language other than French, French subtitles must be provided.
Article 2 – Secondary eligibility requirements
In addition to the mandatory requirements of Article 1, a film must meet at least one of the following conditions:
Have been shot in a Mediterranean territory.
Be directed by a director who is originally from and currently resides in a Mediterranean territory.
Be directed by a director undergoing audiovisual training at an institution located in the Mediterranean.
Be produced by a production company whose registered office is located in a Mediterranean territory.
Fulfilling more than one of these conditions does not confer any additional advantage during the selection process.
