Since 2021, the Boîtes à Images Festival has been showcasing short films from the Greater Region: Grand Est (France), Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Wallonia (Belgium), Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate (Germany).
Open to all audiences, the festival also offers an immersive experience in the world of cinema through workshops, activities and professional encounters, with a special focus on young audiences.
Whether you're a film lover, curious viewer, family or enthusiast – expect discovery, sharing, and strong emotions.
Film submissions are open exclusively to filmmakers from the following areas:
– Grand Est (France): Ardennes, Aube, Marne, Haute-Marne, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse, Moselle, European Collectivity of Alsace, Vosges
– Greater Region: Germany (Saarland, Rhineland-Palatinate), Belgium (Wallonia), and Luxembourg

The Boîtes à images festival is aimed at young creators from the Grand Est Region (France) or the Greater Region (France – Luxembourg – Belgium – Germany). For your film to be eligible, a postal address located in one of these territories must be included in the FilmFest form. Without this information, your application cannot be considered.
