BienVenus sur Mars aims to draw not only on science fiction and the artistic forms it inspires, but also on the very phenomenon of encounters between artists and scientists. This will be an opportunity for scientific encounters through a variety of artistic works: performances, readings, digital art, music, visual arts, conferences... and cinema, through a call for films to set up a third short film competition.
The films chosen by the selection committee should reflect a link between science and fiction, without necessarily belonging to this film genre. Films can show science in its various forms, or scientists in their research and work, but can also be works of fiction inspired by scientific questions.
The short films selected will be screened in public at the Rencontres on Saturday April 7, 2024.
