The Festival International du Film Francophone Tübingen | Stuttgart aims to present a panorama of films produced in France and other French-speaking countries (features and shorts) that have not yet been released in Germany and to promote young French-speaking directors. The Festival is organised by the non-profit cultural association ‘Filmtage Tübingen e.V.’. It is subsidised by the Land of Baden-Württemberg, the city of Tübingen, the city of Stuttgart, the Institut Français, Unifrance, the Berlin Film Office, the Swiss Consulate in Stuttgart, SODEC and Wallonie Brussels International. The Festival is a member of the Coordination Européenne des Festivals GEIE, whose recommendations and Code of Ethics it applies.
In the short film section of our festival, we are showing current French-language short films in several programs. From live-action films to animated and experimental films to documentary formats, the programs cover the entire spectrum of short films. The selection of short films is made together with members of our association.
