PARIS, FRANCE

Entry fees Entry fees
After a successful first edition held in Soorts-Hossegor in August 2025, Dream Landes enters a new phase of its development and becomes Rêve en court, now based in Paris. Designed as a film festival dedicated exclusively to short films and to filmmakers under 30, Rêve en court asserts a clear editorial vision: showcasing a bold, innovative and socially engaged new generation of cinema. At the heart of the festival are theatrical screenings, encounters with filmmakers, and meaningful discussions around the works, with each screening followed by exchanges that extend the life of the films beyond the screen. Rêve en court positions itself as a platform for visibility, dialogue and transmission, defending the short film as a free, demanding and essential format for the renewal of contemporary cinema.

National Competition - Call Open

Entry fees 5 €

The National Competition highlights a new generation of French filmmakers through a strong and committed editorial vision.

This competition is built around the theme “Women’s Voices”: films must be directed by at least one woman. Projects co-directed by a woman and a man are eligible, provided that at least one woman is officially credited as director.

Through this selection, the festival aims to showcase distinctive female perspectives, support the emergence of young women filmmakers, and contribute to a fairer and more inclusive representation of contemporary cinematic creation.

Selected films compete for several awards presented by a jury of distinguished professionals, honoring artistic excellence, directing, performance, and writing.

The following awards will be presented during the National Competition:
• Grand Prize (the Nuage, official trophy of the Rêve en Court Festival)
• Best Acting Award (gender-neutral)
This award aims to recognize an outstanding performance, without distinction of gender, as part of a strong commitment to inclusion and equality among all performers.
Beyond traditional categories, the Rêve en Court Festival celebrates authenticity, emotional power, and the precision of acting, regardless of the identity of the awarded individual.
This prize highlights all forms of performance, acknowledging the diversity of artistic expression and promoting a more equal and contemporary representation of the acting profession.
• Best Director Award
• Best Cinematography Award
• Best Original Screenplay Award

These awards will be granted by a jury of distinguished professionals.
