XVI FESTIVAL AUDIOVISUAL INTERNACIONAL DE LA SOCIEDAD CULTURAL

This entrepreneurship project, in its 16th edition, aims to continue strengthening the national audiovisual identity, given that this branch of art is growing rapidly thanks to technological advances that allow greater access to amateur groups and enthusiasts. It is essential to highlight that this project has become one of the most important spaces for the dissemination and competition of short films in the country. Since its creation in 2006, the project has received numerous national filmmakers as competitors, jurors, and special guests. Over 2,000 short films have been received in all its editions, and in the last edition (XV), over 411 short films from 49 countries and 5 continents were received. The 16th International Audiovisual Festival of the Cultural Society is a socialization space aimed at valuing, stimulating, linking, and training national and international producers, students, and the general public in the audiovisual segment. The festival aims to expand its impact both regionally and internationally, which is why this edition seeks to feature a greater number of foreign materials in competition, in addition to the works received from various points of the national geography. The entrepreneurship project will be developed through various workshops, distributed as follows: - Basic training for young people with little or no knowledge of audiovisual productions - Professional training (led by foreign professionals and aimed at national filmmakers) - Exhibition of works and awards In these workshops, award-winning short films from previous years of the Contest will also be promoted, and the creation of new materials will be encouraged.
