Artificial intelligence is making its way onto film sets and into movie theaters. It is becoming a tool for creation, experimentation, and innovation. From scriptwriting to image generation and assisted editing, technological tools are opening up new possibilities for creators and challenging the ways we conceive and experience artistic works. Laval Mayenne Technopole and its partners are launching the very first AI Short Film Festival in Laval, from March 7 to 9, 2026. This unique event offers both the general public and industry professionals an opportunity to explore the impact of AI on audiovisual creation while reflecting on its role in art and cinema.

Laval Mayenne Technopole, l'Avant-Scène et Atmosphères 53 lancent du 7 au 9 mars 2026, la 1ère édition du Festival du Court Métrage IA à Laval. Une occasion unique de découvrir l’impact de l’IA dans la création audiovisuelle, tout en questionnant son rôle dans l’art et le cinéma.

Appel à contributions :
L’utilisation d’outils d’intelligence artificielle est obligatoire pour participer au Concours. Les courts-métrages doivent être réalisés en très grande majorité à partir d’images générées par IA. L’usage de l’IA pour d’autres aspects de l’œuvre, tels que le son, les voix, le synopsis ou le montage, reste facultatif et laissé à l’appréciation des participants.
