Un événement du festival « Habiter demain »
Edition n°1 - 2026
From 26 to 27 June 2026
Selection announcement date 15 April 2026
Bègles, FRANCE
The film competition of the “Habiter Demain” (Dwelling tomorrow) festival, organized by the Chôros association (Paris) and the La Lanterne community cinema (Bègles, 33), will take place on June 26, 2026, at the La Lanterne cinema in Bègles (33).
Its aim is to showcase and promote audiovisual productions that address issues related to the ways in which humans and, more generally, living beings inhabit and cohabit, as well as issues of habitability, regardless of scale, location, or actors involved.
The festival organizers have sole discretion over the selection of films in competition and reserve the right to offer candidates the opportunity to screen their films out of competition.
The competition is open to all films, regardless of genre (fiction, documentary), length (short, medium or feature-length), origin (French or foreign) or production method (including self-produced). Unreleased films (world or French premieres) will be given priority, but all films, including older ones, are eligible to compete.
