Le Frisson qui vient is a horror film festival devoted to discovering new voices and singular visions. We welcome films from filmmakers at all stages of their careers, as long as they explore original ways of telling stories and do not depend on graphic gore.
A special award will be given to a first or second-feature film.
We are particularly interested in works created outside established industry pathways. Films that refuse to conform to expectations. We seek horror cinema that operates through atmosphere, implication, silence, and the power of the off-screen. Films that choose unease over shock, mystery over excess.
Innovation, daring, and the unexpected are at the heart of our editorial vision.

To qualify for the Short Films category, films must have a running time of between 5 and 40 minutes.
To qualify for the Feature Films category, films must have a running time exceeding 60 minutes.

Films in French, as well as foreign-language films with complete French-language dubbing.
