The festival aims to be a drop of antidote in our ailing society; it gives pride of place to protest, deconstructs toxic political messages, and shines a light on the invisible and the forgotten.
For this 4th edition, we are once again focusing on politically engaged short films.
The focus is on the municipal elections to be held in March 2026.
School films are accepted if they are professional and/or supervised by professionals.

Cinema has the power to reveal the world around us, to awaken consciences about the unacceptable, to illuminate those on the fringes and in the shadows, to transform fear into hope.
As international conflicts continue with ever-increasing violence, our planet suffers, and authoritarian regimes make their voices heard, voices are being raised. They are resilient, united, even if too often stifled. The Festival of Committed Cinemas delivers these hopes, like a breath of newfound freedom, like a rejection of inevitability.
