The International Historical Fiction Film Festival is a cinematic event showcasing historical genre, both short and feature-length films. The festival also has an educational dimension as it welcomes nearly 3000 students from the region every year. The awards presented during the festival are based on public voting; there are no juries. Around thirty guests from the world of cinema and audiovisual media attend Plaisance-du-Touch each year to celebrate historical fiction.
On the occasion of its tenth edition, which will take place from September 18th to 21st, 2024, in Plaisance-du-Touch, the International Festival of Historical Fiction Film is organizing a new competition for international short films.To be eligible for potential selection, short films must meet these criteria:- Respect the theme of the event: Historical fiction.- Have a maximum duration of 20 minutes.- For non-French films, be able to provide a verified and functional subtitle file in the original language of the work.
