FESTIVAL DU COURT-METRAGE DU MEGA CASTILLET

The Méga Castillet is proud to announce the 3rd edition of its Short Film Festival, taking place on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 7:30 p.m.!

After the success and enthusiasm of the previous editions, we are delighted to bring back this exciting and inspiring cinematic event. The Short Film Festival is an opportunity to celebrate creativity, originality, and the passion that drives all film lovers — whether they are beginners, students, or experienced creators. This year again, the Méga Castillet is giving everyone the chance to take part in a unique adventure on the big screen.

Amateurs or professionals, everyone can participate!
The Festival is open to all — no matter your age, background, or level of experience. All you need is a story to tell and the desire to share it. Let your imagination run free, showcase your talent, and perhaps you’ll be the one to win a full year of free cinema! It’s the perfect opportunity to see your film come to life in front of an audience, projected in one of the main theaters of the Méga Castillet.

How to participate:
Taking part is simple. Just follow these few steps:

Fill out the registration form, available for download online or directly at the cinema box office.

Read and sign the official festival rules, also available online or in person.

Send us your short film, with a maximum length of six minutes, via Swiss Transfer, along with your registration form and signed rules, to this email address: festivalcourtmetrage@cine-movida.com

Technical specifications:
All technical details regarding the format, resolution, and file type are clearly listed in the festival rules. Please make sure your film meets these requirements before sending it.

Important dates:

The submission deadline is November 21, 2025.

The 10 selected short films will be announced on November 28, 2025.

The official screening and award ceremony will take place on December 11, 2025, in one of the Méga Castillet’s largest auditoriums.

During the evening, the selected films will be screened in front of an audience and a professional jury. It’s not only a great occasion to see your work on the big screen, but also to meet other filmmakers, exchange ideas, and celebrate the art of storytelling through cinema.

Three awards will be presented at the end of the evening:

Grand Prize of the Festival: 1 year of free cinema

Jury’s Special Prize: 1 month of free cinema

Best Screenplay Award: 15 free cinema tickets

No specific theme is required — you are completely free to explore any subject or genre you like. Whether your film is dramatic, funny, poetic, animated, or experimental, what matters most is creativity, emotion, and originality. Surprise us with your imagination and personal touch!
