Far from prejudices and stereotyped media visions, the Franco-Arab Film Festival has been showcasing the multiplicity of filmmakers' points of view on the Arab world : the aim is to discover the most recent cinematographic productions by filmmakers from Arab countries, or French filmmakers whose careers and concerns are closely linked to these regions of the world.

The Franco-Arab Film Festival is co-organized by the City of Noisy-le-Sec, in partnership with Le Trianon cinema and Est Ensemble. The 15th edition of the Franco-Arab Film Festival will take place from November 6 to 15, 2026 at Cinéma Le Trianon.
Far from prejudices and stereotyped media visions, the Franco-Arab Film Festival has been showcasing the multiplicity of filmmakers' points of view on the Arab world for the past 13 years: the aim is to discover the most recent cinematographic productions by filmmakers from Arab countries, or French filmmakers whose careers and concerns are closely linked to these regions of the world.
Every year since 2013, the Noisy-le-Sec Franco-Arab Film Festival has organized a competition for short films. The competition promotes this format, and highlights current Franco-Arab productions. The selected films will make up a program to be screened at the 2026 edition.

Criterios específicos
The competition is open to films:
─ that fit in with the festival's theme, thus testifying to the links between French and Arab cultures, through their theme, the nature of their production and/or financing, the composition of the crew.
─ lasting 25 minutes or less.
─ produced in 2025 and 2026.
─ produced by one or several of the 22 Arab League countries and/or France
Non-French-speaking films must be subtitled in French.
Each director may enter only one film.
Anyone entering a film guarantees the information given on the entry form. All participants declare that they are the legal owners of all reproduction, representation and broadcasting rights for their film. He/she guarantees to have obtained all necessary authorizations for this purpose.
